Pilot & licensing

Try Lightshaped on your rig.

Start with a short call about your lighting setup. If it’s a fit, we’ll agree what a paid pilot should prove on your equipment.

How a pilot works

01

Evaluate

Use a bounded demo rig or isolated universes. Confirm import, mapping, output ownership, safety and fallback against the infrastructure already on site.

Technical fit decision
02 / Paid pilot

Pilot

A paid, time-boxed collaboration: your team uses Lightshaped across existing and new projects, without a project limit or per-installation fee. Deliverables, implementation capacity and a decision date are agreed up front.

Paid pilot with a decision date
03

Scale

License Lightshaped per physical installation for the universes and workflows it owns, with deployment, commissioning and support scoped separately.

Software / site license
Commercial model

Software per site. Deployment by scope.

Lightshaped's scalable product is the intelligent control plane. The physical installation, electrical engineering and last-mile hardware remain with the integrator and hardware partner.

01Software / site license

The Lightshaped studio, semantic rig, Show DSL, renderer, library, scheduling and controlled network output for one physical installation.

02Deployment & commissioning

Import, mapping, address ownership, low-output verification, controller integration, operator handoff and release-bound evidence.

03Support

An agreed response window, update policy, rehearsal plan and fallback appropriate to the venue and pilot risk.

04Existing infrastructure

Fixtures, power, drivers, wiring and DiGidot/PxLNet or another output node stay the proven electrical last mile.

Scope the pilot

Tell us what is already installed.

One line is enough: the projects or venues you have in mind, approximate pixels or fixtures, current controllers and the creative problem you want the pilot to prove.

Pilot questions.

Why is there no public per-pixel price?

Lightshaped is licensed per physical installation, not per pixel or universe. Early projects differ materially in mapping, commissioning and support, so we confirm scope before quoting instead of publishing a misleading number.

Is a pilot limited to one installation?

No. During the pilot your team can use Lightshaped across existing and new projects, without a project limit or per-installation fee. Each physical output still passes the same commissioning gates before Lightshaped drives it.

Do we need to replace our controllers or fixtures?

Usually not. Lightshaped emits Art-Net or sACN into the existing professional last mile, including DiGidot-class pixel infrastructure. DALI and 0–10 V systems connect through compatible gateways.

Can Lightshaped coexist with our current software?

Yes during evaluation and migration. Only one source owns a universe at a time: Lightshaped can own an isolated set while the existing console or media server remains monitor, fallback or owner of the rest.

What happens if the internet or AI provider is unavailable?

Generation may require a provider connection. Accepted shows, effects and baked media render from local data without a model in the frame loop, and verified installation playback can continue locally.

How is physical output made safe?

The rig, patch and mapping must pass explicit commissioning gates. Shows are validated, strobes are capped, blackout remains immediate and output never silently resumes after a crash.

Can we keep and export our work?

The operator's rigs and shows remain inspectable, exportable JSON artifacts. Saved media and effect assets retain provenance and can be replayed without regenerating them.
